Youth & Logistics Pastor – Trinity Church

Trinity Church is looking to hire an individual with a passion for all things NextGen. We are looking for someone who catches the vision of strategic discipleship and what it looks like to journey alongside kids, students, and families from the nursery right up into young adulthood. This role will serve primarily in our youth ministry – giving leadership to Middle and High School Youth and equipping and shepherding the amazing team of volunteers who invest in our students. In this position, you would report to the Director of NextGen and work with the NextGen team on cross-departmental initiatives that serve families, our faith community, and our city. This role will work closely with our Youth Pastor, with an emphasis on logistics. Thriving in this role means having a heart that is both passionate about people and organizational infrastructure, all for the purpose of guiding students in discovering who they are in Christ, what it means to be part of the Church, and to have an impact in their homes, schools, and beyond.

Responsibilities

Support the mission, vision, and values of all ministries within Trinity Church by leading and living out NextGen values:

Oversight of youth operations, systems and policies:

  • Ensures appropriate systems are in place to support an efficiently functioning environment for a safe, secure, fun and spiritually effective culture at Youth.


Leadership development and training:

  • Oversight of and care for leaders who help to support the process and culture of Youth nights.
  • Works with NextGen Team to create resources for leaders’ growth, equipping, and development.
  • Helps to facilitate skills training and equipping for NextGen leaders throughout the year.
  • Crafting and managing all aspects of youth communications through newsletters, social media, church communication streams, etc.


Project management:

  • Shepherding all large youth projects (retreats, mission trips, Servant Leadership Program, fundraising, etc.)

  • Base Salary: $50,000 per year

Desired start date is June 2025. This role is permanent, full-time/40-hours per week (Sun–Thurs.; hours vary).
