Job summary

A regional family and children's services agency in Ontario is seeking Casual Youth Justice Workers to provide cognitive, life-skills, and recreational programs to at-risk youth aged 12 to 18. Preferred candidates will have a degree in Criminology or Social Work and experience in structured environments. The position requires excellent communication and organizational skills; bilingualism is an asset. Qualifications

• Experience delivering cognitive/clinical programs to youth in a structured environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of legislative acts related to Ministry of Children and Youth Services.
• Knowledge in implementing programs and time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide cognitive, life-skills, and recreational programs to youth aged 12-18.
• Work with young persons in conflict with the law to prevent recidivism.
