Qualifications:

Education and Professional Certification:

  • Completion of a High school diploma.
  • A certificate, diploma, or degree in Child and Youth Care (CYC) or a related field is an asset.

Experience:

  • At least one (1) year of experience working with children, youth, and/or adults with behavioral, cognitive, mental health, or developmental challenges.

Management of Resources:

  • Contribute to the operational budget and unit’s capital plan.
  • Track and reconcile expenses.
  • Ensure agency vehicle logs are completed accurately.
  • Maintain and care for assigned assets and resources.

Safety:

  • Promote and reinforce safe work practices.
  • Adhere to agency and government regulations.

Additional Requirements:

  • The incumbent is responsible for completing all mandatory training requirements.
  • Employees must hold a class five (5) novice two (2) or higher driver's license.
  • Casual positions' wage starts at $20.16 to $23.37 per hour.
