Qualifications

• Qualified in Child and Youth Care Work or Social Auxiliary Work.
• Experience with children or youth in care settings.
• Understanding of child development, trauma-informed care, and positive discipline.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to stay calm and effective under pressure.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to undergo background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care, supervision, and support to children and youth in a residential setting.
• Implement individualized care plans, behavioral interventions, and therapeutic activities.
• Ensure the physical safety, emotional well-being, and developmental progress of residents.
• Document observations, incidents, and progress notes accurately and timely.
• Facilitate group activities, life skills training, and recreational opportunities.
