This opportunity is with our Good Shepherd - Notre Dame Shelter, Youth Services and is part of our Youth Substance Use Program.
How You Will Make an Impact
In this role, you will work to make a difference in the lives of Clients in our Youth Services Program. The successful candidates will have a demonstrated commitment to the mission values of availability, flexibility, adaptability, hospitality and dignity. Youth Addiction Support Workers will function as a member of the Notre Dame House Youth Support Worker team and will have primary responsibility for working in collaboration with community-based addiction workers in identifying youth who are impaired by drug/alcohol use, facilitating crisis intervention as required and facilitating both the short term and longer-term service needs of the youth served.
Observe all health and safety rules and work in compliance with the provisions of the occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations
