East of England Community Health & Care NHS Trust is seeking a Young Carers Project Worker (Part Time) to support the Young Carers service in Cambridgeshire. The post is 21 hours per week, based in Peterborough/Huntingdon with occasional travel across the county.

You will assess young people, provide face‑to‑face support and run group work, in line with the service development. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential; DBS check and references are required; part-time and

Young Carers Project Worker (Part Time) based in Peterborough / Huntingdon

21 hours per week

Our client is a leading local charity offering free and confidential information, support and counselling for young people in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

They are looking to recruit a Young Carers Project Worker, with extensive experience working with young people, to support the delivery of their Young Carer service in Cambridgeshire.

The successful candidate will be part of the Young Carers Project, providing a variety of support to young Carers. The role will involve assessment of young people, face to face support and group work in line with the strategic development of the service.

This post is a critical part of the Young Carers' service and involves working and engaging with young people in a variety of settings.

The post holder will be working across various locations in Peterborough / Huntingdon, with occasional travel to other areas within Cambridgeshire.

A full UK driving license and access to a car is essential for this post.

This post is subject to a DBS check and references.
