Primary Object Of The Position

Under the general direction of the Operations Supervisor, the chosen candidate will provide direction to Ground Handlers & Operators to maintain on-time flight performance.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Organize and brief the Operations team to ensure safe and timely loading / offloading of aircraft and trucks.
• Ensure warehouse and ramp staff follow safe work practices and Cargojet policies.
• Delegate duties to Ground Handlers and oversee staff performance and productivity.
• Lead by example in work performance, professionalism, and safety.
• Provide accurate information to Management and Cargo Movement Control.
• Complete operational paperwork and perform audits for accuracy.
• Suggest time / cost-saving ideas and operational strategies for improvement.
• Prepare daily reports for Management and Cargo Movement Control.
• Communicate professionally with customers and load planners.
• Assist the Manager with aircraft offload / load, cargo handling, and related duties.
• Organize and distribute flight and freight information clearly.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Report policy and procedure violations to the Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in Air Cargo Operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to complete tasks quickly while maintaining standards and accuracy.
• Problem-solving skills and a conscientious attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

• Computer literacy and organizational skills.
• Valid Driver’s License, RAIC, and AVOP.
