Job summary

Ledcor Highways Ltd. is hiring for year-round road maintenance roles in Fox Creek, AB. The job requires a Class 1, 2 or 3 license and involves operating snowplow trucks and wheel loaders to maintain Alberta highways.

You will work in varied weather, with some night shifts, on-call duties, and potential shift rotations. Camp and meal allowances are available for non-local candidates, along with benefits and RSPs through CLAC.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement.
• Clean 3-year driver’s abstract.
• Experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders and other heavy equipment as required.
• Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways year-round, including Labourer duties (crack sealing, pothole repair, etc.).
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
