Job description

We are looking for a committed and dedicated Year 3/4 Teacher to join a warm and welcoming primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive team and make a meaningful difference to the learning and development of pupils in lower Key Stage 2. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Year 3/4 Teacher:

1. Deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of a mixed Year 3/4 class.
2. Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued.
3. Use a range of assessment strategies to track progress and inform next steps.
4. Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan across the key stage.
5. Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and wider staff.

Ideal Year 3/4 Teacher:

1. Is passionate about teaching and committed to raising standards.
2. Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisation skills.
3. Understands the developmental needs of children in Years 3 and 4.
4. Has a reflective and proactive approach to professional growth.
5. Is a dedicated team player who is committed to the school’s values and ethos.
6. Holds QTS and has experience teaching in KS2 (desirable but not essential).
