Job Opportunity: Yard Worker / Telehandler Operative

Our client, a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, is looking to add a team member for a site-based, temporary role that transitions into a permanent position after 12 weeks. Ideally, candidates should be based in Doncaster.

The successful candidate will be responsible for unloading vehicles with plastic pipes and pallets, maintaining the yard's appearance, and operating a Telehandler with an in-date counterbalance license. Driving is required, and access to a car is necessary as public transport options are limited.

Details - Yard Worker / Telehandler Operative

• £12.60 to £13.50 per hour DOE
• Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
• Sick Pay, Company Pension & Life Insurance

Role Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for loading and unloading deliveries
• Facilitate vehicle loading/unloading and manage movement/storage of products
• Daily picking, packing, and dispatching of products
• Coordinate workload requirements with colleagues daily
• Collaborate with logistics, drivers, stock controllers, and workshop teams to execute tasks in the yard and workshop areas

Candidate Requirements

• Telehandler experience
• Counterbalance license (in-date)
• UK Driver's license
• Strong organizational skills and team player
