Job Responsibilities

• Load and un-load trucks in both shipping and receiving ends of the plant
• Use overhead crane to move steel and organize the yard
• Locate steel pieces for Machine operators, Fitters and Welders
• Pick up debris to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Work in all weather conditions
• Provide all-around help in the steel shop when needed

Requirements

• Completion of high school
• Previous experience in structural steel fabrication shop considered an asset
• Successful helpers will have an opportunity to advance and to apply and train for Welder, Fitter, and Machine Operator positions
