Job summary

Domino's is hiring a Tractor/Trailer Yard Driver in Canada. The role involves repositioning tractors/trailers, shuttling units to docks, and assisting with loading/unloading while maintaining safety standards.

You must hold a valid Class A CDL with Air Brakes, have CMV driving experience, and be prepared for weekend shifts and overtime as needed. Expect involvement in yard inspections, documentation, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Six months of verifiable CMV driving experience.
• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with Air Brakes.
• DOT Medical Certificate current.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Pass a background check as required.

Responsibilities

• Walk the yard to identify vehicle defects and document in DVCR booklet.
• Record odometer, hub readings and engine hours; relay to lease company weekly.
• Keep refrigerated trailers at proper temperature for products.
• Ensure trailers are available for unloading/loading by Warehouse Team.
• Assist with unloading trailers when needed.
• Reposition tractors/trailers between yard and docks.
• Comply with Domino’s Chock, Safety Cone and Dock Signal Light policy.
• Shuttle tractors/trailers to and from logistic supplier.
• Take trailers to be washed and cleaned.
• Assist with backhauls.
• May assist Drivers on routes to unload at Domino’s stores.
• Listen to management and Drivers and respond promptly.
• Always wear Domino’s uniform as required.
• Attend scheduled safety, team meetings, and training sessions.
• Follow local, state, federal and Domino's safety rules and procedures.
• Attend classroom instruction covering policies and procedures.
