Regal Security Inc.

is currently seeking a full-time Security Guard at one of its locations in the Toronto, ON area.

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:
  • Full-time availability to work all days of the week, including overnight shifts, holidays, and weekends.
  • 5 years of residency in Canada.
  • G class driver license with no demerits and a clean record.
  • Customer service-driven attitude.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong record-keeping skills (memo books, incident reports, etc.).
  • Keen observation skills and attentiveness.
  • Professional appearance and deportment.
  • Sound decision-making, reliability, common sense, and judgment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Criminal Code of Canada.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service as a front-line representative of Regal Security.
  • Operate and maintain an organized environment.
  • Enforce property rules, regulations, and the Trespass to Property Act to ensure safety and security.
  • Log in and out of site equipment.
  • Monitor CCTV, fire systems, and access control systems.
  • Respond to emergencies, including medical and building incidents.
  • Follow safety and emergency protocols during fire alarms and other emergencies.
  • Conduct patrols and inspections, reporting hazards or deficiencies.
  • Follow site-specific post orders.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to health and safety procedures.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Complete Use of Force training (provided by Regal).
Qualifications:
  • Valid Ontario Security License.
  • Valid First Aid/CPR Certification.
  • Valid WHMIS Certification.
  • G Class driver license.
  • Use of Force training is an asset.
  • Secondary School Diploma or higher; preference for candidates with Criminal Justice, Law, Security, Police Foundations or similar post-secondary education.
  • Proficient with computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Gmail, with ability to learn new systems.
Compensation:
  • Hourly rate of $18.96.
  • Health benefits available after 3 months of probation for full-time employees.
