Qualifications

• Knowledge of welding processes and products is an asset but not mandatory.
• Class 5 license with a clean driver's abstract.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Yard Labour

As a Yard Labour person, you will be responsible for the yard maintenance of our Fort McMurray Branch, as well as assisting our Shipping and Receiving team. The Yard Labourer is responsible for performing a variety of physical tasks to maintain the appearance, safety, and functionality of outdoor grounds and properties. This role requires significant physical stamina, the ability to work independently, attention to detail, and the capacity to work effectively in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently, using forklifts and other machinery.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard and warehouse area, free from debris and hazards, following all company and OSHA safety policies and procedures.
• Inspect and organize incoming and outgoing shipments and inventory, verifying accuracy against bills of lading, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Accurately pull and stage customer orders for delivery or pickup.
• Assist customers in locating and loading products, providing helpful and courteous service.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance issues.
• Assist in cycle counts and inventory control tasks as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members, drivers, and supervisors, maintaining a positive attitude.
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
