We are currently recruiting a full-time Yard Labour at our Edmonton location. This position is Monday to Friday with potential overtime.

Scope

The Yard Labour supports logistics and yard operations by performing manual tasks to move pipes and materials within the yard, ensuring accuracy and safety in accordance with procedures and standards. This includes working with equipment operators to load and unload materials, maintaining inventory, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Assist Loader Operators in loading and unloading tubular pipes
• Support safe operations by setting up work areas and using cones
• Conduct inventory cycle counts and track heat numbers
• Inspect pipes and threads for damages and report issues
• Handle materials including counting, sorting, and packing
• Verify orders and ensure product quality
• Perform receiving duties and maintenance tasks
• Adhere to health and safety policies, including PPE use
• Participate in safety meetings and maintain a clean yard

Experience and Skills

• 2-3 years manual labour experience with tubular products
• Class 5 Driver’s License
• Forklift operation experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varied weather
• Experience around heavy equipment, attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible for overtime and weekends
• Strong problem solving and communication skills
