Job summary

Pagnotta Inc. is seeking a Yard Laborer for our Nisku yard. This full-time role offers year-round work with a 6:30 am to 3:45 pm schedule, Monday through Friday, and potential overtime.

You will support the Yard Manager, manage inventory, load/unload materials, and assist with site-formwork preparation. Steel toe boots are required, WHMIS 2015 training is provided, and reliable transport to Nisku is necessary.

Qualifications

• Steel toe boots required.
• WHMIS 2015 required (we can provide).
• Reliable transportation to and from Nisku.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Yard Manager with duties as needed.
• Yard inventory counting and management.
• Unloading and loading materials.
• Yard cleanup and organization.
• Installing temporary fencing, guardrails, handrails, and barriers.
• Assist carpenters and laborers with formwork for shipment to site.

We are currently recruiting a Yard Laborer to work out of our yard located in Nisku.

Wage

• $20 - $26 per hour depending on experience, negotiable

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist the Yard Manager with any duties he needs help with
• Yard inventory counting and management
• Unloading and loading materials
• Yard cleanup and organization
• Installing temporary fencing, guardrails, handrails, and barriers
• Assist carpenters and laborers with duties related to building formwork for shipment to site

Working Conditions

• Monday to Friday 6:30 am to 3:45 pm
• Overtime and work on weekends as required
• Long term, steady, year-round work
• One paid 15 minute break and one ½ hour unpaid lunch break per day
• Combination of inside and outside work. Appropriate dress required

Requirements

• Steel toe boots required
• Experience operating an aerial work platform is considered an asset
