Lifting Solutions in Edmonton, AB, is seeking a Yard Heavy Equipment Operator/Shipper Receiver to manage shipping, receiving and inventory handling. You will process shipments, inspect materials, and coordinate with freight carriers to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining a clean, safe warehouse.

The role requires 1–2 years in shipping/warehouse, forklift certification is a plus, and familiarity with ERP systems and NAV is beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience.
• Experience using forklifts, pallet jacks, skid steer, and other material handling equipment (valid forklift certification is an asset).
• Experience using a 15 ton overhead crane or large forklift up to 25 ton.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems; NAV experience is an asset.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing shipments with documentation and timely delivery.
• Load/unload shipments, inspect materials, and verify against purchase orders.
• Prepare products for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and scheduling pickups.
• Organize and track inventory in warehouse and staging areas, ensuring proper stock rotation and placement.
• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records in ERP systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams and freight carriers to ensure smooth logistics and timely deliveries.

The Opportunity:
As a Yard Heavy Equipment Operator & Shipper Receiver at Lifting Solutions, you will be responsible for managing the accurate and timely shipping, receiving, and handling of materials, equipment, and products. This role is essential to maintaining efficient warehouse operations, supporting manufacturing and field teams, and ensuring the integrity of inventory processes. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to safety will be key to your success.
