Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or yard position.
• Ability to lift/move heavy materials (up to 60 lbs) occasionally.
• Forklift experience (sit-down preferred) is highly desired.

Overview

This is your opportunity to join a Fence industry leader!

Master Halco: Fence & Deck Supply, North America’s leading manufacturer and distributor of fence and deck products, is seeking a Yard Associate at our branch office.

Responsibilities

1. Review order documents to prepare for accurate product pulling for customers.
2. Daily expectations: 70% drive forklift loading/unloading trailers, 30% manually sorting and staging materials in the yard.
3. Safely operate a forklift.
4. Maintain yard stock in a clean and organized manner.
5. Work inside the warehouse and outside in the yard.
6. Accurately load trucks for outgoing shipments.
7. Receive inbound materials and put away.
8. Complete work orders and receiving documents accurately.
9. Pull and prepare orders, package for shipment.
10. Rotate yard stock and safely move materials using a forklift.
11. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
12. Collaborate with team to ensure branch success and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

1. At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or yard position.
2. Ability to lift/move heavy materials (up to 60 lbs) occasionally.
3. Forklift experience (sit-down preferred) is highly desired.
4. Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
5. Ability to work overtime as needed.
6. Experience with building materials is a plus.
