Job summary

Canada Diagnostic Centres is seeking a certified or soon-to-be certified X-Ray Technologist for our outpatient clinic practice. You will explain procedures, position patients, adjust equipment, and capture diagnostic images while collaborating with radiologists and clinic teams to deliver remarkable patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Active registration (or eligibility) with CAMRT & ACMDTT or CSCLXT & ACCLXT.
• Clinical competency in radiography with an interest in refining and expanding skills.
• Empathetic care, collaboration, adaptability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-Ray Exams: Conduct imaging under Radiologists and referring physicians per protocols.
• Provide Compassionate Care: Explain exams, address questions, ease concerns, make patients comfortable.
• Collaborate with Clinic Teams: Partner with radiologists and teams for seamless care.
• Expand Expertise: Pursue ongoing professional development, cross-train in additional modalities.
• Ensure Compliance: Follow privacy, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and Troubleshoot Systems: Track equipment performance and resolve basic issues.
• Prepare and Maintain Work Areas: Stock exam rooms and report low inventory.
