The OEM Business Manager will report directly to the WW OEM COO and drive the overall financial planning, budget, metrics, measurements, and business controls of Lenovo’s global OEM business. The Business Manager role will require proactive engagement with WW and GEO finance teams as well as the Sales Operations and Incentive & Commissions teams in each GEO. In addition, since the OEM budget funds resources in many other functions, the business manager will be responsible for managing the overall headcount budget for all funded resources and be a key approval and control point for other non-org expenditures. The Business Manager will also be responsible for expense forecasting, consolidation of financial scorecards, and running the overall BMS for the OEM business. During the strategic planning cycle, the OEM Business Manager will be responsible for driving all interlocks between GEOs, Product BUs, Finance, and all operational functions.
Key responsibilities:
The successful candidate must have strong financial, analytical, and business process management skills, and must be able to successfully lead multiple operational activities and projects in a global matrixed team. The Business Manager candidate must have the ability to oversee all business metrics, have the instincts to anticipate issues, and take proactive measures to resolve issues before they become business problems. This candidate must be a strong leader with a proven track record of leading matrixed teams in a rapidly growing business.
