Right to Live Canada is a national non-profit organization dedicated to combating poverty-driven euthanasia and alleviating poverty-induced suffering among Canadians with disabilities.

The Opportunity

We are a start-up non-profit seeking four to six talented writers to join our team as copywriters. This team will create content for our website, brochures, print media, and internal documents like program outlines and plans. We prefer well-read individuals with strong cognitive skills in logic, systems, verbal, and language abilities, capable of understanding our organization, cause, and background, and communicating effectively in writing. Proven top-level writing skills, preferably with marketing experience, are required.

Our current workload plan includes:

  1. Website copywriting (2-3 volunteers)
  2. Newsletter (1 volunteer)
  3. Print materials (1 volunteer)
  4. Internal documents (1 volunteer)

You will meet with our Executive Director via Google Meet to gather information, read background documents, and perform assigned writing tasks. This role is entirely remote, utilizing Slack and Google Workspace tools. You may also be tasked with editing and improving existing writing.

Our Mission

We are a rapidly growing start-up organization aiming to become a national movement supporting Canadians with disabilities against systemic poverty and related suffering, including poverty-driven euthanasia and suicide. Your writing will be crucial in raising awareness and supporting our impact initiatives to make a difference and save lives.
