Job Overview:

We are seeking a Wrapper Operator to join our BAR DIVISION at our Ontario, California location. The shift hours are from 3pm to 3:30am, with weekend availability required. Responsibilities include managing the Presto robot, check weighers, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of the wrapping process. The role involves teamwork, prioritizing emergencies, maintaining safety standards, and optimizing machine performance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operate and optimize the wrapper, robots, and check weighers.
  2. Ensure smooth shift transitions and communicate critical points.
  3. Maintain accurate coding and machine settings.
  4. Ensure seal integrity and material conformity.
  5. Prepare materials and tools, and maintain cleanliness.
  6. Monitor and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and perform simple adjustments.
  7. Support sanitation activities and line changeovers.
  8. Report issues promptly and ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Food Safety Training
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Intermediate communication skills; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Ability to work under high speed and stress
  • Basic math skills
  • Teamwork and self-management skills
  • 1-2 years experience in food manufacturing

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing for long periods
