Job Summary

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Wound Care Nurse ready to make a difference in clients' lives? Join our expanding and dynamic team at our state-of-the-art Integrated Care Clinic and play a vital role in our patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide attentive nursing care to patients.
  2. Assist in patient assessments, treatments, and procedures.
  3. Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring adherence to medical standards and protocols.
  4. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic patient care.
  5. Offer comprehensive patient education and support for a positive healthcare experience.
Qualifications
  • Hold a valid nursing license in good standing with the appropriate regulatory body, such as CNO.
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Check valid within the year.
  • Valid CPR Certification valid within the year.
  • Wound Care Certification is essential.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to excel in a collaborative and fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of medical protocols and best practices.
  • Step 1 and 2 TB Testing valid within two years.
  • NSWOC and SWAN Certification.
  • Proven experience in wound care nursing.
  • Experience with electronic medical records.
  • Knowledge of wound care best practices and latest advancements.
  • Familiarity with wound care equipment and technologies.
  • Ability to maintain and update patient records.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Advanced MS Suite skills (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) is an asset.
  • Experience with Alayacare Program and TELUS CHR EMR is an asset.
  • French speaking ability is an asset.
