Description

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Workstation Technician. This position is ideal for junior to intermediate professionals looking to grow in a dynamic enterprise environment focused on building a more secure and stable infrastructure. As part of the team, you will play a key role in workstation lifecycle management, configuration, troubleshooting, and automation using industry-standard tools and practices.

This role requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to function independently while also collaborating effectively within a team. The successful candidate will work primarily on-site in Cambridge, with limited work-from-home flexibility.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Support and maintain Windows workstation infrastructure across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and configuration tasks.
  • Administer and support SCCM and/or Microsoft Intune for software deployment and device management.
  • Apply and manage Windows Group Policies and Active Directory configurations.
  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues.
  • Participate in the full system lifecycle, including deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning.
  • Provide timely and professional support to end-users, maintaining a diplomatic and service-focused approach.
  • Follow established procedures, documentation standards, and best practices.
  • Assist in requirement gathering and participate in Agile development processes.
  • Meet project and operational deadlines consistently.
Technical Skills :
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting.
  • Proficiency in SCCM and/or Microsoft Intune administration.
  • Familiarity with Windows GPO, Active Directory, and Windows security.
  • Experience troubleshooting both hardware and software issues.
  • Understanding of system lifecycle and deployment best practices.
Soft Skills :
  • Strong written and oral communication in English.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Team-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong customer service orientation and professionalism.

Additional Information :
  • Primary office location: Cambridge (on-site presence required 4 days/week).
  • Occasional remote work permitted (1 day/week) and for emergency or scheduled after-hours support.
  • Agile and business analysis experience is an asset.
