Responsibilities

The Workplace Technology Analyst is responsible for delivering an enhanced digital user experience to support our modern workplace environment. The role includes design, implementation, and advanced technical support of computing device management and related platforms, such as desktops, laptops, cloud PCs, mobile phones, tablets, appliances, audio/video conferencing, and IoT devices. Acts as technical lead for device management projects, monitors platform performance, security, and efficiency, and manages change impacts on end-users. Provides operational support and expertise to BTS staff regarding infrastructure requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead technical initiatives for computing device management and platforms to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand needs, challenges, and industry trends.
  • Research and stay current on technological advances, industry standards, and solutions.
  • Develop roadmaps for device management strategies.
  • Implement automation and cloud solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Design and support self-service features for computing devices.
  • Build and validate deployment packages for provisioning services.
  • Assess, recommend, and test new device and platform technologies.
  • Maintain documentation, statistics, and reports on platform features and deployments.
  • Monitor platform performance and security, deploying upgrades as needed.
  • Handle escalated operational issues and service requests.
  • Coordinate change management processes, assessing impacts and executing changes.
Qualifications

Education: Diploma in Computer Science or related, specializing in device management. Microsoft Intune required; ITIL, Cloud, Endpoint Configuration Manager preferred.

Experience: At least 4 years in an enterprise environment with device management, project implementation, stakeholder management, and documentation skills. Knowledge of TransLink processes is a plus. Valid Class 5 driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs required.

Additional Information

Recruitment involves demonstrating minimum qualifications through interviews. Work schedule is 37.5 hours/week with hybrid work options.
