Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a full-time Workplace Support Service Associate for our downtown locations, including 155 Wellington. The role focuses on administrative duties and on-site facilities support to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities include managing meeting rooms, coordinating supplies and catering, supporting executives, and performing daily facility checks. Candidates should have post-secondary education in office administration and at least 1 year of relevant

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in an office/administration field preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in office administration required.
  • Strong time management, organization and project management skills.
  • Excellent customer service, communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as point of contact and provide administrative support to the unit.
  • Manage multiple floors and employee lounge areas.
  • Support executives onsite to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues; cover sick calls.
  • Set up conference rooms and maintain white boards; assist with occasional heavy lifting.
  • Manage meeting room calendars, schedule A/V equipment, and train end users.
  • Check devices (printers, copiers) and coordinate service/repairs.
  • Manage supplies, tidy cafe, meet vendors, and handle catering orders.
  • Sort mail, update staff folders, and manage stationery and printer supplies.
  • Inspect facilities daily for stains, lights, and repairs.

Job description

The hourly wage rate for this position is $21. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Job Summary

The Workplace Support Service Associate will serve as the point of contact and will provide support the unit with administrative duties.

  • Manage multiple corporate floors and employee lounge areas.
  • Support executives onsite to ensure satisfaction and resolution of any issues. Cover Sick Calls
  • Setup conference rooms, including regular maintenance of white boards; may also involve occasional heavy lifting.
  • Manage meeting room calendars, schedule audio-visual equipment, and train end users.
  • Check equipment (printers, copiers, etc.) and manage any service or repairs.
  • Manage supplies, tidy café, and meet with vendors.
  • Setup and cleanup of catering/refreshment orders.
  • Empty dishwashers and return clean dishes to cupboards.
  • Sort mail and update folders with staff changes.
  • Order stationery and maintain printer supplies.
  • Inspect facilities daily, checking for stains, lights, and repairs.
