Workplace Strategy Consultant

Location: Hybrid (Toronto-based preferred)

Type: Contract

Our client is looking for a Workplace Strategy Consultant to support a range of real estate-focused projects — including office moves, relocations, and post-merger workplace planning.

This isn’t an interior design role — it’s about the strategy behind the space:

• How much space do we need?
• How should it function to support people and business goals?

You’ll help shape how teams work — aligning physical environments with business needs, headcount projections, and workplace trends.

About You:

• You understand workplace design principles and space planning strategy (square footage, function, team interaction).
• You're not necessarily an interior designer — but you're fluent in the language and logic of strategic design.
• You may come from a background in Strategic Foresight, Environmental Design, Interior Design, or a similar field.
• You ask the right questions: How will people use this space? What are the workflows, team structures, and business objectives?

Ideal Background:

• Experience with corporate real estate projects (relocations, reconfigurations, mergers/acquisitions).
• Exposure to workplace planning, real estate consulting, or design strategy.
• Recent grads with strong design strategy exposure (e.g. OCAD U grads in Strategic Foresight/Interior Design) are welcome to apply.
