Job summary

AZAD is seeking a Workplace Services Technician to support Motor Pool, Commuting, and Conferencing programs in an enterprise level environment. Responsibilities include managing vehicle dispatch, scheduling conferencing services, and assisting with various commuting programs. This position is based in Portland, Oregon, and offers a hybrid working model with an hourly pay rate based on qualifications and experience.

Job description

Join AZAD as a Workplace Services Technician and provide various support to the Motor Pool, Commuting and Conferencing programs withinan enterprise level environment.
This position's duties are diverse, ranging from dispatching and maintaining GSA vehicles, supporting organization's mass transit, car-vanpooling, bicycling, parking, and office supply programs as well as conferencing services by performing conference room, WebEx, and video conference scheduling. These combined services support over 200 conference rooms, thousands of virtual meetings (WebEx - video conferencing), 5 motor pools (37 vehicles) and over 1200 employees within alternative commuting and parking programs.

This is a 2 years plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is based in Portland, Oregon and is hybrid with work performed onsite 1-2 days weekly. The hourly pay rate range for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $4.57) is$28.32 - $34.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.

The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:

High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
10 years of experience specific with one or more of the duties including reporting and data analysis, conferencing services, commuting services, motor pool services, and e-bike program support.

Demonstrated experience in dispatching vehicles, reserving conference rooms or virtual meetings, supporting alternative commuting and parking programs.

Demonstrated experience successfully working in demand driven environments.
Customer support skill sets (customer facing, phone, Outlook and virtual).
Demonstrated skills in juggling requests, spanning across numerous services (flexibility).
Understanding of computer operation and basic connectivity troubleshooting.
Basic understanding of cohosting virtual meetings (WebEx).

Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.

Must be able to pass a federal criminal background and drug screening.

Ability to obtain Forklift Operator Certification within first 60 days.
