Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement all aspects of Amazon’s Global Safety Program.
• Identify and inform management of compliance issues, safety risks, and improvement opportunities through regular audits.
• Maintain required paperwork to comply with Amazon and OSHA regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments related to jobs performed (Job Hazard Analysis).
• Innovate process improvements and manage actions to completion.
• Train and assist team members in completing safety tasks.
• Provide additional oversight for fire prevention and hazardous waste management.

Basic Qualifications

A bachelor’s or master’s degree with all requirements completed between May 2023 and August 2025.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working towards a degree in Health Science, Safety Engineering, Health & Safety, Safety Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, especially around health and safety needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Excel, Project, Visio, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Graduate Safety Practitioner (GSP) certification.

Amazon offers a competitive compensation package, including:

• Base salary ranging from $56,000 to $84,000/year depending on experience and location.
