Contract Duration:

16 months

Position Summary:

This role involves planning, designing, and optimizing PointClickCare's workspace environments. The WE Engineer will coordinate with senior leadership to ensure office layouts meet employee needs and organizational goals. Responsibilities include managing property operations, building systems, vendor negotiations, compliance, and emergency response. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, vendor management, and being on-call 24/7 for emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage space utilization data and assist with space planning to improve workflows and employee satisfaction.
  2. Conduct feasibility studies and collaborate on space layouts and furniture reconfigurations.
  3. Ensure facilities meet building and fire codes, maintaining safety and compliance.
  4. Manage databases, AutoCAD drawings, project schedules, and standards for capital projects.
  5. Support real estate projects, collaborating with stakeholders and vendors.
  6. Implement workplace initiatives, liaise with property management, and support emergency responses.
  7. Assist in event reconfigurations and implement workplace technologies.
  8. Coordinate office services, amenities, and stakeholder inquiries.
  9. Support a positive hybrid or in-office work environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree in a business-related discipline.
  • 3-5 years experience in facilities management or design.
  • Expertise in AutoCAD.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
  • Degree in Interior Design, Architectural Technology, or certifications like CMP or PMP.
  • Professional designations such as FMP, CFM.
  • Experience with FM software.
$31.29 - $33.65 an hour
