  • Strong background in snow removal, especially for commercial properties.
  • Comfortable using computers to maintain accurate records and logs.
  • A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the maintenance team's activities for both summer landscaping and grounds care, as well as winter snow removal.
  • Follow and implement year-round maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure all tasks are completed on time and efficiently.
  • Regularly inspect properties to identify seasonal maintenance needs, such as lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal priorities.
  • Perform hands-on maintenance tasks as needed, including troubleshooting, repairs, and installations for both summer and winter services.
  • Oversee the use, maintenance, and storage of all lawn care, landscaping, and winter property maintenance equipment, ensuring they are functioning properly and safely.
  • Train and mentor staff on equipment use, maintenance procedures, and safety practices for both summer and winter operations.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including timesheets, equipment/property logs, and inventory for landscaping and snow removal.
  • Work with other departments to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime during seasonal changes.
  • Monitor equipment performance for both summer and winter needs, and recommend improvements, repairs, or upgrades when necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 3-5 years of landscape maintenance experience is required.
  • Previous leadership experience is essential.
  • Familiarity with all landscape maintenance equipment.
  • Punctual, personable, and professional with a friendly attitude.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
