Workers' Compensation Claims Manager

Are you experienced in managing workers' compensation claims in Quebec? We are seeking a dedicated professional to ensure efficient intake and management of workplace injury claims in compliance with provincial requirements and client policies.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Claims Management: Open and proactively manage claims with the Quebec CNESST to minimize time-loss and costs.
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate reported incidents to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Communication: Maintain open communication with clients, injured workers, and CNESST.
  • Legislation Interpretation: Apply Quebec's workers’ compensation laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Reporting and Appeals: File injury reports, handle appeals, and draft objection letters.
  • Case Management: Develop and monitor return-to-work and rehabilitation strategies.
  • Medical Follow-Up: Follow up on medical reports and CNESST correspondence.
  • Independent Medical Evaluations: Prepare files for IMEs.

Requirements :

  • Experience: Proven experience managing workers' compensation claims in Quebec.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and claims processes in Quebec.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in English and French.
  • Education: Background in human resources, health and safety, or insurance is an asset; significant claims management experience also considered.
