This is a full-time hybrid role located in Ontario, CA with work-from-home flexibility. The Associate Attorney will handle a variety of tasks, including providing legal advice, conducting legal research, negotiating settlements, and representing clients in Workers' Compensation cases. Daily responsibilities also include preparing and drafting legal documents, attending hearings, and collaborating with senior attorneys to develop case strategies. The successful applicant will be able to handle all aspects of workers' compensation cases from beginning to end while maximizing the recovery for our injured clients.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Membership in the California Bar Association
  • Experience in Workers' Compensation
  • Strong understanding of workers' compensation law and the Labor Code
  • Proven ability to offer sound legal advice and conduct thorough Research
  • Skilled in negotiation and permanent disability ratings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team
