Employees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (Assembly) provide professional non-partisan services to support the democratic institution of Parliament and its members through procedural advice, administrative support and information services. The Assembly is an autonomous employer, separate from the administrative framework of B.C. government ministries and agencies.
The Information Technology department is seeking a detail-oriented, collaborative and analytical individual for the regular full-time position of Workday System Administrator.
Reporting to the Workday Product Solutions Manager, the Workday System Administrator (Administrator) is responsible for optimizing the Workday environment through system configuration, security administration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of system functionalities. The Administrator works closely with HR, Finance, and other organizational stakeholders to ensure seamless operation and enhancement of Workday modules.
This position partners with leadership and outside vendors and is accountable for defining, creating and controlling all project activities to ensure delivery within scope, schedule, budget and specified quality and support the rollout of new technology, development of applications and/or system enhancements. The Administrator designs processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, service delivery and enhanced end-user experience as well as develops reporting metrics and analytics for the organization.
