Workday Sustainment Analyst - Human Capital Management (HCM)

Join to apply for the Workday Sustainment Analyst - Human Capital Management (HCM) role at Fanshawe College.

This is a hybrid position with occasional in-person work in London, Ontario. Applicants who previously applied to posting JR00743 are already being considered and do not need to re-apply.

Fanshawe College is undergoing a multi-phase ERP transformation via Fanshawe One powered by Workday, aimed at modernizing core administrative systems. The project includes phases for Core HCM and Finance, Advanced Planning, and Student modules. We have created a Sustainment Team to support these modules post-implementation, ensuring smooth operations, continuous improvement, and user support.

Role Summary: Under the general direction of the Workday Sustainment Lead - HCM, the Analyst supports configuration, implementation, and maintenance of Workday HR modules. Responsibilities include assisting with HR projects, integrating Workday into workflows, managing employee data, generating reports, conducting system testing, and supporting operational processes and end-users.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years HR experience with reports, analysis, and HRIS operations.
  • Minimum 2 years experience supporting Workday, including configuration and reporting.
  • Experience with Core HCM, Time and Attendance, Talent Management, Benefits Administration preferred.
  • Familiarity with union/non-union environments, HR modules, and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and process improvement capabilities.
