A global organization undergoing a major systems transformation is seeking a Workday Payroll Consultant to lead the implementation of its Workday Payroll module. This is a 12-month fully remote contract, ideal for a seasoned consultant with deep Workday Payroll expertise and experience managing end-to-end implementations.

About the Role

As a key member of the implementation team, you’ll be responsible for leading the deployment of the Workday Payroll module. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders, external partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery, configuration, testing, and deployment of payroll solutions aligned with business objectives.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Workday Payroll
  • Manage system configuration, testing, validation, and deployment activities
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT teams to align payroll functionality with broader system needs
  • Translate business requirements into scalable payroll solutions
  • Identify and resolve issues related to data migration, integrations, and compliance
  • Conduct user training, knowledge transfer, and support change management efforts
  • Ensure payroll processes meet regulatory requirements and internal controls
