Job summary

Skillhub Solutions Inc. is seeking a Workday Functional Consultant / Project Lead for a utilities client. This remote contract role is based in Calgary, Alberta, offering an hourly rate of CA$80–CA$100.

You will lead functional design, configuration, testing, and deployment for Workday projects, while coordinating with HR, Payroll, Finance, and Digital teams to ensure smooth implementations and ongoing system stability. This role requires strong leadership and deep Workday expertise.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Workday functional experience in Core HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, or related modules.
• Experience leading Workday projects and configuration initiatives from requirements through deployment.
• Experience supporting organizational changes such as legal entity implementations, acquisitions, divestitures, restructures, or unionized workforces.
• Experience in energy, utilities, manufacturing, or another highly regulated industry is an asset.
• Workday certifications and experience with Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence are assets.
• Experience with HR technology roadmaps, governance, release management, and continuous improvement is an asset.
