Position Title: Business Consultant - Workday Solutions Consultant

Contract Duration: 6 months (highly extendable)

Location: Downtown Toronto/Hybrid (In office Monday and 1st Friday of every month)

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Business Consultant, Workday Solutions, you will provide technical and functional support for the design, delivery, configuration, testing, and support of our Workday Data Quality and Governance reporting. Working collaboratively with partners across HR, business groups, Technology, and external vendors, you will deliver key reporting for the Workday Solutions team. You will help ensure the ongoing solutioning and delivery of Data Quality Reporting from the Workday application.

How You’ll Succeed

1. Design, Configure, and Optimize – Collaborate with HR, business functions, subject matter experts, vendors, and stakeholders to optimize Workday Data Quality Reporting, including designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining reports in Workday. Identify opportunities to enhance Data Quality Reporting through Workday's functionalities.
2. Consultation and Advice – Use your understanding of Workday functionality to build reports aligned with Data Quality Dimensions (Accuracy, Completeness, Validity, etc.). Support leaders and partners in assessing options and change impacts related to Data Governance.
3. Change Management – Support change management and process improvements to equip HR and Data Governance teams with necessary knowledge for Workday Data Governance.
4. Relationship Building and Management – Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, providing consultative advice, leading or participating in project teams, and proactively communicating with stakeholders to align strategies and plans.

Must-haves:

• 4+ years of Workday Reporting experience and HR knowledge
• Completed Workday 6-day Intro course for reporting (or extensive Workday experience)
• Extensive Workday Reporting skills (Matrix Reporting, custom calculated fields, Worksheets, Dashboards, Discovery Boards)
• Excel skills: V and X lookups, If Statements, Pivot Tables, Graphs/Charts, Trendlines
