We are seeking an independent, self-motivated individual with strong data entry skills to support the Custodial Services section within Fleet and Facility Services. Accuracy and attention to numerical detail are essential, as you will input data from various sources into key systems for Custodial Services.
What will you do?
- Use simple language and list tasks in order of importance.
- Create flowcharts, checklists, or diagrams to simplify tasks and link them within your bullets.
- Create and update purchase orders according to contract rate schedules.
- Process invoices for custodial services, ensuring rates and services match agreements.
- Follow up on accounts payable inquiries and resolve issues with Operations staff.
- Work with SAP systems, including Plant Maintenance, ECC, ARIBA, and others.
- Perform basic calculations like service rates and GST as needed.
- Investigate and resolve Ariba exceptions.
- Update Vendor Control Agreement balances for staff.
- Enter biweekly time data into CAT2, audit data, and verify with Forepersons.
- Create and manage work orders in SAP Plant.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Completion of Grade 12 with business subjects or a certificate from an approved business school/college.
- At least 2 years of experience in word processing, information processing, including financial or payroll tasks.
Skills required for success:
- Proficiency in SAP (Plant Maintenance, Ariba, ECC, CAT2).
- Typing speed of at least 40+ WPM with high accuracy.
- Ability to manage workload independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork ability.
- Task prioritization and flexibility with timelines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to travel between locations as needed.

Conditions of Employment:
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license or provincial equivalent.

Hours of Work: 33.75 hours/week, Monday to Friday.
Salary Range: $25.172 - $31.257/hour or $44,346.77 - $55,067.02 annually.
