Job summary

Produits Seatply Inc. is seeking skilled woodworking operators for on-site work at our Quebec facility. You will set up, program and operate woodworking machines to fabricate parts for furniture and fixtures, and you may repair components as needed.

The role requires reading specs and following instructions in a dusty, noisy production environment. Applicants should have a secondary school diploma or equivalent experience and 3–5 years in woodworking or manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in woodworking or manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications.
• Proficient manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in a loud, dusty environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program and operate one or more computerized or manual woodworking machines.
• Fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures and other wood products.
• Operate preset special purpose woodworking machines to fabricate wood products.
• Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions.
• Replace parts as required.
