Job description

About us

Changing Lives is a nationwide charity helping people facing challenging circumstances to make positive change — for good. We believe everyone deserves a safe home, a rewarding job, and a life free from addiction or abuse. With the right support, anyone can change their life for the better.

Our services across the country assist thousands each year who face issues such as homelessness, addiction, unemployment, criminal justice involvement, sexual exploitation, and domestic abuse. We focus on individuals' strengths and opportunities to help them overcome challenges and lead independent, successful lives.

Our charity is powered by over 600 passionate colleagues in a diverse and inclusive environment, many with lived experience of the challenges faced by those we support. We seek committed and compassionate professionals to join our team and share our mission of changing lives.

About the Service - Women and Children's Services

We operate services and dedicated women’s centres for those at risk or facing difficult circumstances, including women involved in the criminal justice system and those with experiences of trauma, sex work, or sexual exploitation.

We recognize that women and girls have unique experiences and vulnerabilities. Childhood and domestic abuse are common in their lives, affecting their health and wellbeing. Our services are grounded in an understanding of trauma, focusing on recovery, resilience, and community integration.

About the Job

The role involves working closely with partner agencies to provide a holistic support package for service users, building and maintaining community links, and representing Changing Lives at community events.

This position will be based in the office and involve outreach work within the community. You should be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, and handle challenging deadlines under pressure.
