A trusted engineering firm in Mississauga is seeking a Wiring Harness Technician / Electro-Mechanical Technician to join their team. This role involves the assembly and installation of wire harnesses used in various electrical systems. Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical assembly or wire harness fabrication preferred.
  • Aerospace or aviation experience considered an asset.
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification is preferred.
  • J-STD-001 certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, harness layout drawings, and work instructions.
  • Cut, strip, terminate, and crimp wires and cables according to building documentation and engineering standards.
  • Route and bundle wire harnesses using lacing cord, tie wraps, and sleeves as specified.
  • Install and secure connectors, back shells, contacts, splices, and other related hardware.
  • Perform continuity and insulation resistance checks using multimeters and other basic test equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment by keeping shelves and workstations neat.
