Job summary

Eclipse E-line Services is seeking Wireline Operators for full-time positions across Western Canada. The role supports reliable oilfield services with a focus on safety, teamwork, and professional conduct.

Training is provided to entry-level candidates, with opportunities to grow within a dependable company. As part of the Operations team, you will be involved in rigging, calibration, equipment maintenance, and driving company units.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in rigging up and rigging down of wireline equipment.
  • Prepares wireline unit and calibrates tools.
  • Assists in assembling perforating guns and rebuilding setting tools.
  • Guides surface tools during wireline operations.
  • Troubleshoots tools and equipment with good judgement.
  • Maintains wireline unit, tools, and facilities in good condition.
  • Drives wireline units, cranes, pickups, and trailers.
  • Ensures safety practices before, during, and after operations.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

We are looking for Wireline Operators to help us execute our mission of delivering reliable, cutting-edge oilfield services to Western Canada.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assists in rigging up and rigging down of wireline equipment.
  • Assists in the preparation of the wireline unit and calibration of tools.
  • Assists in the assemblies of perforating guns and rebuild of setting tools in various field and shop locations as needed.
  • Guides surface tools during wireline operations.
  • Use excellent judgement and problem solving skills in assisting in troubleshooting of tools and equipment.
  • Maintains assigned wireline unit, tools, equipment and facilities in a neat, workable condition.
  • Drives company wireline units, cranes, pickups and pickups pulling trailers.
  • Ensures that all safety practices are implemented before, during and after the well service operation.
  • Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Position Requirements:
  • As a key member of our Operations team you will be detail oriented, self-motivated and safety conscious. You’re a team player who’s customer service focused attitude does not go unnoticed. You are a high performer, have a positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationships.
  • Current Class 3 Driver's License with Airbrake Endorsement, or the ability to attain it within 120 days of employment.
Physical Demands:
  • Frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel or crouch
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs
  • Occasionally required to assist in lifting and/or moving of 150lbs
  • Works outdoors in all weather conditions.
Qualifications and Training Certificates Required (or be willing and able to obtain):
  • Valid H2S Alive and First Aid Certificate
  • Class 3Q Drivers License
  • Legally allowed to work in Canada
  • Alcohol, Drug and fit to work testing is a pre-employment requirement.
  • Provide your own steel toe boots (CSA approved)
