Job summary

Inline Electric Supply Company is seeking a Wireroom Tech to wrap, tie, and place materials onto reels and maintain wire-room inventory. You will work independently or with a team, following safety rules outlined in the company handbook, and assist with housekeeping and daily tasks.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and provide a current health card. Forklift certification is a plus but not required. Drug and alcohol history must be clear.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wrap, tie, and place materials onto respective reels.
• Short and place materials onto racks.
• Ensure proper technique and procedures are followed in wire-cutting machine areas.
• Ensure wire-cutting machines cut and measure wire correctly.
• Monitor machine controls and ensure wire thickness, pressure, cutting, and striping length is accurate.
• Assist in keeping wire room inventory accurate and stored properly.
• Perform daily housekeeping to warehouse and wirerooms.
• Adhere to safety rules as provided in the Inline Electric Supply Safety Handbook.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by department manager or leadership team.

A Wireroom Tech is responsible for wrapping, tying, and placing materials onto the respective reels in the wireroom. A Wireroom Tech should be able to multitask and should work efficiently independently or in a team setting. A current health card is required, and no history of drug or alcohol abuse is allowed.

Responsibilities:

• Wrap, tie, and place materials onto respective reels
• Short and place materials onto racks
• Ensure proper technique and procedures are followed in wire-cutting machine areas
• Ensure wire-cutting machines cut and measure wire correctly
• Monitor machine controls and ensure wire thickness, pressure, cutting, and striping length is accurate
• Assist in keeping wire room inventory accurate and stored properly
• Perform daily housekeeping to warehouse and wirerooms
• Adhere to safety rules as provided in the Inline Electric Supply Safety Handbook
• Perform all other duties as assigned by department manager or leadership team
