A leading distributor of electrical products is seeking a Wire Cutter to join their team in Kingston. The role involves sorting cables, cutting to size, and packaging for shipping. Ideal candidates have warehouse experience and can lift up to 40lbs. Shifts are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, offering $20.00 per hour.

• Experience in warehouse, production, or general labour.
• CSA approved steel-toed boots required.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs repeatedly.

Job Details

• Sort cable by size
• Cut to customized size per specific order
• Remove outer armor
• Strip off installation
• Package for shipping
• Follow directions from onsite supervisor
• Communicate effectively with supervisor and co-workers

Requirements

• Warehouse, production, or general labour related experience
• CSA approved steel-toed boots
• Clear CPIC
• Must be able to multi-task
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Access to reliable transportation
• Perform basic mathematical calculations required to accurately complete tasks
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs on a repetitive basis
