Job summary

The University of Ottawa invites applications for three teaching assistant positions for CSI3140 WWW Structures, Techniques and Standards for the 2027 Winter semester at Main Campus. TAs will help prepare and run weekly laboratories, support grading, and assist students in person.

Work runs January 1 to December 31, 2027, with a total of 130 work hours. Undergraduate students receive the lower rate and graduate students the higher rate; compensation is hourly.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Preference will be given to candidates who have completed this course or its equivalent and its prerequisite(s) with a mark of A or better. Attend a TA workshop if necessary. Must be ready for an interview if considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and giving weekly laboratories/tutorials, correcting assignments and related duties, weekly office hours and E-mail support to students, midterm and final examination proctoring.
