Snow Removal Crew on-call position based near Okotoks, AB. Work is seasonal, from November to April, with shifts whenever it snows. Early starts, including weekends and holidays, are common. Roles include sidewalk crews and equipment operators, both requiring outdoor work and winter gear.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in winter conditions.
• Reliable transportation to get to work during snow events.
• Snow removal experience not required for sidewalk crew; equipment operating experience is required for Equipment Operators.

Responsibilities

• On-call from November to April with no guaranteed hours; shifts occur when it snows.
• Equipment Operators clear parking lots using plow trucks and/or skid steers.
• Sidewalk Crew Members work with shovels, snow blowers, and apply ice melt as required.
