Realign LLC in Montreal, QC (Hybrid) is seeking a Windows patching and software deployment engineer to lead enterprise patching and deployment activities. The role requires strong Windows Server administration, PowerShell automation, and reporting skills to support compliant operations.

The successful candidate will collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams, develop automation scripts, and produce operational runbooks and SSRS reports to monitor patch status and SLA

Qualifications

  • Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
  • Good understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services.
  • Experience with MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and report generation.
  • Strong technical documentation and authoring skills.
  • Knowledge of incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced enterprise environment and manage critical production systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute enterprise-wide Windows Server patching and software deployment activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Windows Server OS issues during incidents and production outages.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate patching, deployment, compliance tracking, and reporting.
  • Monitor patch compliance and ensure adherence to organizational SLAs and security standards.
  • Generate operational and compliance reports using MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL queries.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to plan and implement patching activities.
  • Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions for continuous improvement.
