Job description

Position Title: Windows Endpoint Engineer

Location:Regina, SK

Overview:

Charter is currently seeking an experienced Windows Endpoint Engineer to join our team starting July 2025. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience providing design, implementation, and management of a large scale (1000+ endpoints) Windows Enterprise desktop environment that operates 24x7. Additionally, you will bring experience with: SCCM/MECM administration (including Intune co-management), and creating/maintaining standardized Windows images (Desired Configuration Management). Strong experience in Microsoft SQL scripting/queries/reporting, along with expertise in Active Directory Group Policy design/management is required.

Location: Regina, SK (occasional travel within SK). Term: 24 months. Strong possibility of extensions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in desktop engineering or a related field, designing, implementing, and managing a Windows enterprise desktop environment (1000+ endpoints) in a 24x7 operating environment.
• Experience managing and administrating SCCM/MECM Environment, including co-management with Intune
• Strong experience in creating and maintaining standardized Windows images. (Desired Configuration Management)
• Experience in Windows Application Packaging & Task Sequences, Windows Installer, MSI and MSIX.
• Strong experience in Microsoft SQL scripting, queries & reporting
• Advanced knowledge of Active Directory Group Policy design/management, and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience managing Microsoft Updates with SCCM following routine schedule.
• Experience in Windows 11 Enterprise edition and Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise.
• 5+ years of experience providing Tier 2 support.
• Strong experience with network troubleshooting for the desktop environment.
• Experience with Lenovo Desktops & Notebooks and Panasonic Ruggedized Toughbooks for field workers, would be an asset.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) in English is required.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
