You experience is :

• 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Construction or Windows, Doors or Glass manufacturing experience will be a plus.
• Background in day-to-day production planning, prioritization of tasks and execution based on operational demands.
• Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing.
• Experience / knowledge in Window & Door industry an asset.

Education & other requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Clear Criminal Background Check.

Working Conditions

• Lifting and / or carrying anywhere from 0llbs to 50llbs.
• Work in a production facility.
• Patrol premises – navigate ladders, ramps, stairs and run-on occasion.
• Standing for extended periods.
• Involves sitting, walking, standing, bending, stooping on a regular basis.
• Walking near to heavy tool and moving machinery.
• Exposure to all types of weather conditions, and dirt, dust and noise.
• Flexibility in scheduling depending on production demands – able to work day & / or evening shift.
• Opportunity for overtime on short notice due to operational needs.

Reporting Relations

Reports to : Production Line Manager / Supervisor

Direct Reports : Assembler, Glazer, Machine Operator or helper.
